All rug sizes are approximate. Patterns may vary slightly according to shape and size.
It is normal for new wool rugs to shed yarn fibers for up to 4 months. Regular vacuuming will help pick up these fibers and keep the rug looking fresh and clean. Due to variations in computer monitors, we are not responsible for variations
in color between the actual product and your screen.

About Savonnerie Rugs
King Louis XIII started the production of Savonnerie rugs in 1628 in Chaillot, France. He brought in weavers from Turkey and Iran to create hand made rugs using traditional weaving techniques, usually opulent floral schemes, on upright looms. The only place that could accommodate such high looms was an old soap factory, which in French is called Savonnerie hence the name of this rug is derived from the location where it was woven. Antique Savonneries are expensive and hard to come by.
