Rug PADDING

There are 2 types of Rug padding:

1. Rug Pads for hard surfaces (hardwood and tile)
2. Rug Pads for carpets (carpet to carpet)

These are rugs that rug padding is strongly recommended for:

1. Needlepoint
2. Bokhara
3. Jaldar
4. Fine Persian Masterpieces
5. Kilim or Dhurrie
6. Sumak
7. Silk Rugs
8. Any rug smaller than 8 x 10 on a hard surface

In general rug padding is recommended even for larger size rugs on hard surfaces not only because it stops the rug from moving but also because it extends the life of the rug.
